Why the change?
Because I want to go back to the basics for this blog, writing about WordPress, Blogging, and SEO.
Joomla will not be covered here, but if you want to read more on the newest Joomla! news, use the Website Beginners Guide website or follow Steve Burge and his fellow bloggers on the Joomlashack.com Blog.
For me, WordPress is now the way forward.
I do still like Joomla! and the latest version has made great progress and it is a much better system now than when it first started with 1.x.
WordPress Topics to be Covered
Like I mentioned before, WordPress will be the way forward for this blog.

Search Engine Optimization is one of my focus area's and mostly geared towards Google as the main search engine.
Where I live, in The Netherlands, Google has a 98,54% Market share on SmartPhones and 92.36% on Desktops (source Pure-IM.nl).
Worldwide Google has 92.71% according to Statcounter.com.

WordPress Redirection
Yes, I will keep an eye on old links coming in and redirecting them to the correct moved page. I have installed a WordPress Redirection plugin to handle that.
