About Hummerbie

Hummerbie is my Internet Presence name.

It came about bij the fact that a some people started calling my Herbie, instead of my real name, which is Herbert-Jan van Dinther.

That and the fact that I can be really busy with Internet related stuff draw me to a Buzzy Bee kind of name.

Combining the two then made Hummerbie, yes, still an odd name, but I like it, I hope you will to.

I have been building websites and Blogs since 1999 and still love doing it.

But I also like to give information and share my knowledge on several aspects of the things I do on the Internet.

And after Building Informational websites About Joomla SEO and Network Documentation in Dutch and English, I thought that now was the time to give Hummerbie a place on its own.

A place that is not highly focused on Joomla, WordPress or Drupal, not an Search Engine Optimization, but a place for more than just that.
So you will find Information on Open Source, Windows Freeware and other things of Intrest that cross my path as I surf the Internet...
